Abstract:Since the method of high order cumulation can not be used on-line because of longer computing time required, a new method using 1.5, 2.5 dimension spectrum is proposed to analyze vibration signals caused by difference crankshaft bearing clearances and extract the fault features of the crankshaft bearing. This new method holds the high order cumulation’s features in suppressing noise and extracting nonliner coupling characters. When vibration signals was acquired, vibrant sensor was fitted in 4 different position and the sum of energy of some frequency band was extracted as fault features. Experimental result shows that parameters present in this paper show the working conditions of crankshaft bearing much exactly, when the speed of engine is higher than 1300 r/min, the best diagnosis area for data collecting is the two side of the areas between the cylinder and the bottom of the engine.
