Abstract:The experiments were made on the SHPB system and the AE law of rock under stress wave is obtained. The experimental results show that, the AE signals are few before the peak of the energy; and the AE energy presents two different features: I mode, the energy decays rapidly after the peak of the energy, however, the energy rises at the end of the loading and the “inflection point”appears; II mode, the energy decays slowly after peak energy and the “inflection point”does not appear. The research results indicate that the AE energy features closely relate to the rock fragmentation degrees; the AE under stress wave is not only the reflection of the cracks, but of the stress wave signals.
