Abstract:Based on the introduction of EMD and HHT theory, they were applied to the field of aero engine rotor-case vibration signal analysis. Then, the vibration signals from an aero engine when it is in bench tests were analyzed. The results reveal that the method can more clearly reappear to the process of rubbing between rotor and stator with change of rotate speed and sampling period. It can obtain the rubbing information between time and frequency domain overcoming the shortcoming of Fourier translation which can only display the information in frequency domain. It also shows that marginal spectrum can display the distribution of system’s frequency and amplitude more objectively.
