Abstract:In order to validate the numerical methods and phenomena that have proposed by the previous theoretical study, the experimental demonstration are carried out. The numerical methods is first used to predict the worst-case mistuning patterns under different engine order excitations , the measurement of the validation blisk response to an engine order traveling wave excitation is then accomplished using the optical measurement systems. The results of the experimental data are used to verify the theoretical and numerical predictions about bladed disk dynamic behaviors. Good agreement between experimental measurements and finite element anal-ysis is obtained. The occurrence of mistuning jump- forced response localization phenomena is also validated.
