Flutter and dynamic analysis based CFD/CSD coupling method

Abstract:CFD/CSD coupling algorithm research was conducted, and CFD based nonlinear aeroelastic simulation code was developed for complex aeroelastic system analysis. In order to meet the demand of rapid analysis, a reduced-order model based on Volterra series for nonlinear unsteady aerodynamics is developed. This model is validated on AGARD 445.6 wing which is a standard aeroelastic configuration, and used to the Flutter analysis of a plate wing with regula. CFD/CSD coupling is employed to calculate the aeroelastic response under the flight dynamic pressure, the result shows that even when the flight dynamic is below the flutter boundary, the aeroelastic response also has the possibility to go into Limit Cycle Oscillations(LCO).Then the dynamic load is analyzed in this case. The result shows that CFD/CSD Coupling Method can credibly simulate the aeroelastic response, and it can give accurate information about dynamic load in such response.
