STRUCTURE TRANSFER PATH ANALYSIS OF TIRE VIBRATION AND NOISE

Basic theory of structure transfer path analysis was presented. On the basis of analyzing wheel excitation force and its transmission, structure transfer path analysis model of tire noise was built up, and the test of transfer path analysis is carried out. The coupled excitation force was estimated, and the synthesized structure-borne noise was got, which has a good agreement with test result below 300Hz. The sound contribution of each transfer path to interior noise was analyzed using spectral contribution nephogram and vector superposition chart. The transfer paths which play a leading role to interior noise were determined; the interior noise induced by tire can be reduced by changing characteristics of these paths.
