Abstract:The finite element model of radome made of composite material for the purpose of simulating Bird Strike was set up . Using the shell element to simulate radome, simultaneously attaching the ALE elements of the air aroungd the bird, simulated the process of the bird strikes composite radome making use of display dynamic analysis software LS-DYNA and analyzed the damage response of the radome . The results show that the impact of the process, the peak stress mainly distributes in the region of impact surrounding; part of the region between layers of different materials will withstand different strain response form .
