Adjacent order components based on fractional fourier transform

Abstract:An method to separate adjacent order components based on Fractional Fourier Transform(FRFT) is presented. The best FRFT transform order is calculated according to the rotate speed signal of the gear box’s input axis and the gear ratio, and the vibration signal of gear box’s accelerated running process is analyzed by FRFT with the best FRFT transform order, the adjacent order components are separated into single component signals in that FRFT field, and the separated single component signals are analyzed by order analysis respectively. The experimental results show that the best FRFT transform order gained from the rotate speed signal is exact, quick, insusceptible and adaptive. The adjacent order components can be separated by FRFT accurately, and the agglutination problem of adjacent order components is solved effectively.
