Abstract：Abstract: Energy Finite Element Method (EFEM) was used to predict structural vibration responses caused by disturbances of flying wheels. The main cause of the disturbances was discussed and a sinusoidal force was used as an excitation after analyzing the characteristics of the model of the flying wheels disturbances. The energy density responses of the vibration in space and frequency fields were calculated and compared with the responses from the wave method. It is indicated that the results from the EFEM correspond to the averaged results from the traditional wave method. Besides, the results show that the EFEM demands less for the mathematical models of the excitations and the boundaries, and as a newly introduced method for responses calculation of the spacecraft under flying wheels disturbances, the EFEM is expected more practical in the engineering and high-frequency field.
