Abstract:Comparison of calibration results is an effective method to confirm the consistency between different devices and methods, the feasibility of primary shock calibration using different shock devices is introduced in the paper. According to ISO16063-13, the principle of two typical shock exciters based on rigid body motion and Hopkinson bar and the chock pulse shape generated by them are presented. Comparison of the results for an accelerometer calibrated with the two exciters is made, and then difference of the results and its cause are analyzed. Finally the paper describes some effective ways for comparison of the shock calibration results using different shock exciter, which may serve as a reference for shock comparison among regional and international shock community.
