Abstract:The impact distribution of granule flow is experimentally studied in the wide channel. Both the impact with varied granular radius and the transit charactristics of impact spectrum are also investigated. The experimental results indicate a parabolic impact distribution across the channel, the decay of impact along channel, the increase of impact upon granule radius, the exponential dependence of impact on granule scales upto saturation, and the obvious difference between the up-edge and the down-edge of impact spectrum. The studies suggest a possible mechanism to further understand of practical granular behavior with multiple components.
