Abstract:In this paper, a close-loop force-vibration cutting dynamical simulation model is established for 2-DOF peripheral milling process. This model is established through the combination of theoretical cutting force model and tool workpiece dynamical model, which are obtained form experiments. The cutting forces and vibrations are simulated and compared with measured signals. The results show that the simulated vibrations correspond well with actual cutting vibrations. This model is of piratical significance of forecast cutting forces, vibrations and choosing correct cutting parameters.
