Abstract:The discharge valve is one of the key parts of the vane compressor for automotive air conditioner, as well as one of the main vibration noise sources. Through the analysis of the movement of Discharge Valve structure, a mathematical model of the vibration of the valve was constructed, and the natural frequency and the forced vibration were solved. Calculating by the UG NX Nastran, the natural frequency and the mode of vibration of the discharge valve were identified. The testing results has verified that the shell vibration acceleration, noise and exhaust pulsation are lower than the upper limits of the GMW standards of the General Moors Corp., USA, having proved the reliability of the working condition of the discharge valve. However, the results of the research indicates that the ultimate displacement of the vibration of the valve is relatively close to the height of restrictor plates. Therefore, there still remains some space for raising the height of the restrictor plates or limiting the vibration amplitude for further control of the exhaust pulsation and noise of the system. The result of this analysis has a reference value for the vibration analysis and fault diagnosis of the discharge valve even the overall vane compressor.
