Actually on the manufacturing of CSP mill, main drive system will produce strong torsional vibration and lateral vibration. The two vibrations are coupled and take on complicated nonlinear dynamic characteristics. Therefore it is of great theoretic and applied importance to carry through researches on dynamic coupling characteristics of mill main drive system to make sure efficient and reposeful production of the mill. Using differential equations for coupling of lateral and torsional vibration which were predefined, interactional factors between lateral and torsional vibration are theoretically analyzed and experimentally proved. This indicates that coupling phenomenon of lateral and torsional vibration really exits while exceptional vibration of CSP mill is taking place.
