Modeling and Dynamic Characteristic Analysis for Longitudinal Coupled Vibration of Liquid Rocket

Abstract:For the problem of structure-propulsion coupled longitudinal vibration of a liquid-propulsion launch vehicle, dynamic model of each component of the propulsion system is established in time domain. Governing equation of the coupled system is deduced in the form of second-order linear differential equation. With this method, all eigenvalues of the coupled system can be obtained quickly, and their sensitivities with respect to physical parameters of the accumulator and pump can be calculated easily, providing technique method for optimization of liquid rockets.
