Abstract:Dynamic characteristics of flexible container under wind load is typical problem about fluid-structure interaction under multiphase flow. Mutil-material ALE method is used to build the finite element model of the flexible container and wind. Dynamic characteristics of this structure under the different velocities of wind are compared. Numerical tests show that the the maximum principal stress and the deviation of the mass center become greater with respect to the increasing wind velocity untill the velocity achieves some certain value and the structure starts to slide on the ground, which provide important references for the research on wind-inducing response of flexible container.
