Abstract:A dynamic model of bending-torsion coupling for gear-rotor-rolling bearing system was developed, in which the dynamic backlash, tooth face friction, gear eccentricity and time-varying mesh stiffness were considered. The coupling relationship between the bearing end and the gear vibration was investigated by analyzing the effect of dynamic backlash and the bearing clearance. The results reveal that when comparing with the no backlash system, the radial vibration of the bearing end with dynamic backlash is much stronger in high speed zone, while the amplitude of torsional vibration is greater in the whole speed range. The dynamic backlash system enters into the main resonance region in advance by nonlinear jump. The change of the dynamic backlash has little effect on the vibration of the bearing end, but obvious for the torsional vibration; The size of bearing clearance has significant influence on the radial and torsional vibration of the system. With the change of bearing clearance, the time-domain characteristic and spectrum of the two kind of variation vary regularly. Moreover, the bearing clearance directly affects the size of the dynamic backlash. The conclusions have important theoretical and engineering values gear rotor systems with clearances.
