Abstract:The vibration active control of piezoelectric smart constrained layer damping technology was researched by using the mixed sensitivity method of H∞ robust control theory. The system dynamics model was established based on finite method and GHM damping model. The controllable and observable control model was obtained by using dynamic condensation method and balanced model reduction method. This paper proposes the general selection method of weighting function and the H∞ controller was designed. Finally, the experiment was carried out under different external disturbance excitation, the results show that the effect of active control of the plate vibration is good by robust H∞ controller which designed by this paper’s method. The vibration response of sine excitation amplitude attenuation nearly 40%, The vibration response of random white noise amplitude attenuation nearly 18%.
