Abstract:To test the compactness of beam reinforcement grouted sleeves during construction, and improve the assembly quality and safety of fabricated buildings, the firstarriving wave propagation path was deduced,then a t distribution based ultrasonic probability method suitable for the small sample grouted sleeve compactness detection was proposed. More specifically, the feasibility of the ultrasonic technology for testing the compactness of grouted sleeves was demonstrated, and the first arriving wave propagation path was deduced. Then, the ultrasonic wave velocity was collected at the cross sectional radial direction, and the t distribution was used to calculate the collected velocity data statistically to obtain an index for the purpose of judging whether the grouted sleeves were compact. The method was validated by 60 samples from three cases. The experimental results show that the probability method based on tdistribution can not only reduce the sampling workload without decreasing the effect of defect detecting , but also increase the detection efficiency.
