Abstract Chaos motion of nonlinear Automobile suspension system under the dual-frequency sinusoidal excitations is analysed. Chaos motion is decided through Lyapunov exponents and Poincare map and amplitude of chaos motion is found.Then a controller U is designed when all the states of the system are measurable. It is proved by means of Lyapunov function that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable in the sense of large range. At last, the tracking control with the controller U is used to control chaos motion and the control process has being numerical Simulation. The results of numerical Simulation prove that the tracking control method is effective.
