Abstract In order to improve the efficiency of vibration energy harvesting and study the effect of ambience excited force and storage energy Load, a low power synchronized switch control circuit of parallel inductor is proposed, which comprises a current shunt monitor, a comparator, a microcomputer and a bidirectional electronic switch. When the microcomputer turns on or off the switch at the appropriate time according to the interrupt signal generated by the comparator, the control method for parallel Synchronized Switch Harvesting on Inductor(SSHI) can be achieved. In the case that the energy storage unit is considered as load of SSHI, the effect of rectified voltage, piezoelectric oscillator capacitor, the amplitude and frequency of excitation on the efficiency is analyzed. The experimental results show that the proposed method can improve the vibration harvesting efficiency in case of higher rectified voltage, smaller excitation amplitude, larger capacitor and excitation frequency. Meanwhile, they support the theoretical basis for the application of SSHI.
