Abstract Small non-road SI engine’s vibration performance affects the using performance and reliability of the supporting machine. The 168F gasoline engine was taken for example. Simulation analyze of gasoline engine’s vibration performance using the engineering software were performed based on experimental study. Come to the conclusion that such gasoline engines are lighter and the reciprocating inertia force is small because they are made of aluminum alloy and there are no sleeves (Bearings) in connecting rod; The size’s deviation of the crankshaft balance block has a larger effect on the balance value of reciprocating inertia force which causing the poor performance of the whole production. The 168F gasoline engine’s calculation results show that when the original cylindrical dimension changed among the tolerance value, the equivalent vibration intensity ranged from 56 to 102.8mm/s; When the cylindrical surface of crankshaft balanced block was machined and the radius was optimized to 42.43 ± 0.15mm,the equivalent vibration intensity changed from 56 to 64.1mm/s, which had a significantly improvement compared to the original. Draw the conclusion that the control of dimensional tolerances is vital to control the non-shaft balance single-cylinder engine’s vibration performance and conformity of production.
