Abstract The synchronous measurement research on the distribution of flow field after the vertical lift gate and gate vibrating parameters for the condition of submerged discharge at the same time is conducted based on the three-dimensional PIV velocity measuring system and multi-channel vibrating data acquisition system . The results show that: when the vortex along the flow direction is closer to the gate in the same working condition, vibrating displacement of the direction will reach the maximum value, and peak value is 3-4 times higher than average vibrating displacement.The closer the measuring point is to the ordinate of the vortex center , the larger the peak of vibrating parameters is .With the increase of the average velocity and turbulent kinetic energy of flow under the gate, the peak value of vibrating acceleration, velocity and displacement on the same measuring point are increase gradually along the positive direction or negative direction of flow. The gate vibrating amplitude near the gate-lip is closely related to the gatage. when the gatage reach a certain value, it has no great influence on gate vibration.The conclusion of experiment provide the basis for exploring the mechanism of gate vibration.
