Abstract In order to get the characteristics of the landing performance of a pipe spring landing gear,we designed a test to obtain the relevant parameters of the drop shock.At the same time,we designed the system of the drop test,and determined the feasibility of the operating system of the drop test by the test of landing gear system.By changing the drop height and delivery quality and machine wheel rotation speed and other parameters,we could get the variation law of the maximum vertical displacement of the wheel and the maximum vertical displacement of the landing gear and the related parameters.This work provides references for landing gear design.
