Abstract In this paper, a unit of magnetic suspension supporting is designed and applied to floating raft vibration isolation system. A semi-active output feedback fuzzy controller is designed for floating raft isolation system with magnetic suspension isolator .Then, optimal stiffness of magnetic suspension isolator and the appropriate current could be obtained. Input force and output force response of floating raft isolation system, under complex-frequency exciting signal and impact exciting signal are simulated. The simulation results indicate the performance of magnetic suspension supporting floating raft isolation system with semi-active fuzzy control method is more effective in vibration isolation in comparison with the passive optimal system.
