Abstract:The dynamic characteristics and damping mechanism of impact-contact between the tips of blades was studied in this paper. The model of impact elastic forces for the impact-contact between the tips of blades was established by employing the elastic mechanics theory. Then the impact-contact of blades was simulated by numerical method and verified by the experimental results. Finally the nonlinear response characteristics and damping mechanism of impact-contact system were obtained.
