Abstract:A method of single channel blind source separation for underwater acoustic signal is proposed under condition of multipath transmission. Firstly, the multipath time delay is estimated by autocorrelation. Then the successive multipath signals can be added in phase, so as to increase the signal-noise ratio. At last, virtual channels are constructed from the observed data by resample method, which overcomes the limitation of single channel. The simulation results show that the ship-radiated noise can be separated from ambient noise by this method with single observing channel under condition of multipath transmission, and the method works stably at different SNR.
