Abstract: Setting vibration-isolating slot had been proven to be an effective method o decrease the vibrating effect of dynamic compaction. In order to research the details of the influence factors, ANSYS/LS-DYNA was used to analyze the vibration-isolating effect of vibration-isolating slot under different work conditions. The distribution of peak acceleration with and without vibration-isolating slot was compared. The vibration-isolating effect of different distance, different depth and different width were researched. The results showed that the range of vibration reducing reached to 60%~80%. The vibration-isolating effect would increase with the increase of depth, but the width of vibration-isolating slot had little influence on the vibration-isolating effect. The approximate formulas for evaluating the vibration-isolating effect of vibration-isolating slot were presented by fitting the theoretical data. The field test was then carried out. The results showed that the vibration duration caused by dynamic compaction is about 0.2 seconds to 0.5 seconds. The peak acceleration appeared in the first 0.1 second. The largest acceleration response was the radial horizontal acceleration, followed by the vertical acceleration, and the tangential horizontal acceleration was the least. The largest vibration caused by the point compaction often appeared at the sixth compaction in the same compaction point while it often appeared at the second compaction in the same compaction point. The vibration-isolating effect of vibration-isolating slot reached to 50%~90%, which was consistent with the theoretical results.
