Abstract:Strong shock wave, electro-magnetic pulse,light-heat effects give out when condensational explosive explodes. Test circumstance is formidable in the near zones of explosive. Conventional piezo-resistance silicon sensors can’t meet the test demand.In order to get the detonation parameters of the near zones of explosive and provide reference values for explosion damage assessment on protective structures, PVDF piezo-electric sensors are made and scaled by SHPB. The experiment of TNT explosion is carried out to examine the validity of the sensors.The difference of results between experiments and calculations by AutoDyn is less than 10%. A home-made PVDF piezo-electric sensor after interference treatment is suitable for the test of shock wave in the near zones of explosive .
