Analysis of vibration isolation of rectangle cross section vibration isolation mass

Abstract:Abstract: Based on energy method, the vibration analysis model for rectangle cross section vibration isolation mass and plate structure is developed. By utilizing Rayleigh-Ritz method, the dynamic responses of the structure under external load are calculated. The isolation characteristics of single arranged vibration isolation mass, several arranged vibration isolation masses and rectangular loop isolation masses band are discussed in detail. The effects of structure parameters of vibration isolation mass on its vibration isolation performance are also discussed. Computed and analysis results show that, the isolation of vibration isolation mass is significant when the structure under the middle or high frequency excitation. The vibration isolation performance can be improved by increasing the weight of vibration isolation mass or the height of the section without vibration isolation mass change.
