Abstract:Abstract: To medium and small-sized spacecrafts’ docking process, it’s feasible to consider a flexible probe based on probe-cone docking mechanism without buffering to reduce the docking impact shock. In this paper, a simplified probe-cone docking impact model is built using finite element method firstly; the impact vibration modals in docking process are analyzed based on the finite element model. By modal analyzing of the elastic beam and phase-frequency analyzing of impact force and transverse velocity, the relationship between impact and vibration modal of probe is founded.
