Abstract:By the multiple-scattering theory (MST), the imaging process in phononic crystal with slab and slabs were investigated. It was found that there was a negative refraction imaging for a single slab in a certain frequency range, the processing can be described by Anti-Snell's law after introduced the effective negative refractive index. For slabs, the image can be obtained by repeating imaging according to position order of slabs, its processing is similar to case of conventional geometric optical system of spherical surfaces with the same primary optical axis, so the concepts, such as real/ virtual object and image etc, can also be employed utility. A acoustic slab len can not change the propagating direction of sound wave in phononic crystal but shift its locations. And the combined slabs system share the same imaging result with the single slab when its cumulate thickness is equal to thickness of a single slab. These characteristics make the combined slabs lens system more advantages than the traditional geometric optical spherical surfaces system in the image quality, lens manufacturing and system constructing etc.
