Abstract:Spectral decomposition problem is referred to as that the system matrices are constructed so that the vibrating system has the prescribed spectrum. According to the GLR theory, the spectral decomposition theories for various vibration systems are given, including damped gyroscopic system, viscous damped system and undamped gyroscopic system. Moreover, the orthogonality relations for the eigenvectors of the associating vibration systems are established, which are applied to solve the partial pole assignment problem with delayed state feedback. Taking viscous damped system for example, a constructive method is provided for the parametric solution of the multi-input case.
