Abstract:To research the oscillation forces of fans of the direct air cooling system during operation on the fan bridge truss, 1:1 test model is made and three working conditions are selected to take the test. The strain and speed of revolution of the fan shaft are tested when the fans are running through radio survey techniques. The strain isolation technique determined oscillation forces produced by rotor mass eccentricity, bending moment produced by vertical vibration of the fan blade, torque produced by driving fan revolution and vertical oscillation forces produced by air reaction. Then four characteristics of oscillation forces in the conditions of different operating modes, different speeds of revolution and different numbers of fan blade are analyzed. The test result in this paper is for the reference of the ones who design the air cooling fan bridge truss and supporting structure.
