Abstract:Aircraft hydraulic pipeline vibration affects aircraft conduit system service life and flight safety. The vibration is mainly composed of pump vibration, fuselage vibration and pipeline and fluid coupling vibration. The first two can be reduced efficiently through soft connection, however, the latter needs optimization design to avoid coupling vibration. The bending zone is the sensitive area in coupling vibration, therefore, a certain type of aircraft pipeline subjected in high periodic pressure was analyzed with finite element method and CFD, more importantly, elbow angle effect on pipeline vibration characteristics under unsteady flow was studied. The results dedicate that the amplitude and peak-peak vibration values dropped 50% and 68.29% respectively with the corner angle ranged from to , which should be given more consideration in the future design work.
