Abstract:With regard to the defect that the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is easy to fall into local optimum, the author put forward a multi-race particle swarm optimization (MRPSO) algorithm, which has strong global search ability, and can greatly reduce the probability of the search falling into a local optimum. And then, introduced the algorithm into the finite elment model updating, and utilized it to optimize a type of missiles. After the optimization, the natural frequencies had a very marked improvement, which proved the effectiveness and value of engineering application of the MRPSO algorithm.
