Abstract:The model vibration has great impact on the accuracy of wind tunnel test, and it also harms the safety especially on the state of big attack angle. It is necessary to take some measures to reduce the vibration. Two active vibration controlling schemes were proposed for the 4m×3m low speed wind tunnel in China aerodynamics research and development center. The finite element method was used to analyze the efficiency of the methods. The finite element model was established for the supporting system of 4m×3m wind tunnel. Then the modal analysis was conducted to get the natural frequencies and vibration modals. Basing on the APDL program language, the active controlling process was simulated under the scheme of smoothing and forecasting. The results imply that the two active vibration controlling methods proposed for the 4m×3m low speed wind tunnel were effective.
