Abstract:A method based on angle area fourth-order cumulant slice spectrum is proposed to extract weak fault feature of connecting rod bearing. First, the unstable accelerating vibration signal is order re-sampled and the stabilized signal is obtained at the angle area, then the fourth-order cumulant diagonal slice spectrum is calculated to constitute the angle area fourth-order cumulant slice spectrum, which used to analysis unstable signals with different rotate speed section and different test position to extract weak fault feature of connecting rod bearing. Experimental result shows that the combination of angle re-sampled and the fourth-order cumulant diagonal slice spectrum could both to analyze unstable signals, but also suppress noise interference; the power and peak value of angle area fourth-order cumulant slice spectrum with certain order band could distinguish connecting rod bearing with different status effectively, it could be used as feature parameter to extract connecting rod bearing fault; the sensitive test position and rotate speed section and the feature order band were obtained.
