Abstract:Taking a certain type of Gatling gun as research object, the support rod of tripod is designed and the hinged-buffer type spade is applied in order to improve the firing accuracy. The finite element model of gun is established to analyze the inherence characteristics; and the virtual prototype model of coupling of multiple rigid-body and flex-body is established to obtain the gun tripod fixed fulcrum and the muzzle dynamic response characteristics in the firing process. The results are analyzed and compared with that of original structure, and structure after the improvement is testified better to reduce the vibration in the Z and Y directions, thereby the firing accuracy is improved better.
