Identification of Modal Parameter and Cable Tension of Harbin Sifangtai Bridge

Abstract: Modal parameter of bridge is very important for finite element updating, damage identification and bridge condition assessment. Dynamic test is the necessary approach to obtain the modal parameter of bridge. Finite element model of Harbin Sifangtai Bridge was established, eight accelerometers with force feedback was applied to measure acceleration of bridge deck by the way of group test, piezoelectric accelerometer was applied to measure acceleration of cable, the combined method the NExT and ERA was applied to identify cable-stayed bridge modal parameter and the identification result was compared with the calculated result of finite element, frequency difference fitting method was introduced to identify frequency and tension of cable and the result was compared with the design cable tension of real bridge.
