Abstract:Internal solitary wave is a usual phenomenon in shallow water near the continental shelf. It changes the stable profile of water density and sound speed, causes distortion in sound field structure. In this paper, the influence of shallow water solitary wave on sound transmission loss and beamforming of horizontal array had been investigated, using PE method for both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional cases. Simulation results of beamforming by CBF, MVDR and MUSIC are also compared.
