Abstract: The paper investigates the dynamic response of an aluminum alloy circle plate under air blast with ANSYS/LS-DYNA. The thickness, diameter, boundary and the weight of TNT were considered for anomalous response of circular plate. The elastic-response and elastic-plastic response of the circle plate were analyzed by changing the distant between the detonation point and the plate. Found the instability region of anomalous response. The results show that the scaled standoff distance will stay at a small range when anomalous response occurred. The instability region of the anomalous response reduces with the increase of plate thickness.
