Abstract:Vibration model of new type of broadband dynamic vibration absorber, which is a composite beam with rubber layer in variable cross-section, coupled with plane is established by theory of power flow. While the minimize of the maximum peak of pure power flow input to structure which is controlled by absorber is specified as goal function, particle swarm optimization is used to optimize the parameters of broadband dynamic vibration absorber, then scale of the parameters of dynamic vibration absorber which greatly decrease the vibration of target structure is summarized. After comparing with the results of experiment,conclusion is obtained and shows that particle swarm method is suitable for analyzing the complex continuous absorber optimization.
