Research on dual-shaker random vibration test control by two degrees of freedom H-infinity controller

Abstract:Abstract:A new approach is presented for dual-shaker random vibration test using Η-infinity-based optimal decoupling method with two degrees-of-freedom controller without taking the cross-spectra into account. A cantilever beam is used to verify the proposed control approach. A two - inputs two - outputs control model is set up based on the beam. The results demonstrated that, in the frequency range from 20 Hz to 2000 Hz, the controller can make the error between the output PSD (power spectrum density) and the reference PSD less than ±1dB, which is perfect for the dual-shaker random vibration control test. Finally, a test is performed and the test results show that the proposed method can meet the engineering demand.
