Abstract:The linear motor was used as the vehicle active suspension actuator in order to damping and energy recovery. The control system of active suspension was designed, which control the linear motor to output the active force according to road surface excitation and manage the energy of linear motors from its different models. Seven degrees of freedom vehicle model was used for simulating. The results show that the designed control system can effectively improve the vehicle's comfort, and it can regenerate energy when the damping coefficient selected appropriately.
