Abstract:When marine main engine is mounted on air suspension, its vibration transmitted to ship hull can be greatly attenuated. But it becomes more difficult for main engine to obtain accurate alignment with the propulsion shafting.. Based on the achievement of on-line alignment detection, an optimal control algorithm is presented to align main engine accurately by adjusting pressure of air-springs. The experiment results demonstrated that this algorithm posses fast convergence speed and high convergence precision and realizes optimal load distribution.
