Abstract:Abstract: Slewing bearing are basic components widely used in construction machinery industry. Considering effect of axial load and rotational speed of slewing bearings, a finite element model for dynamic contact problem of slewing bearing was established by the software ANSYS/LS-DYNA, with dynamics by finite element method, a numerical simulation was done for the whole operating process of slewing bearings, and the dynamic response of the bearing, the stress distribution of the rolling element and the mises stress of groove during running process were obtained. The results show that the dynamic simulation is reasonable in comparison with the calculation result by Hertz’s theory and provide theoretically reliable reference to design of slewing bearing.
