Abstract:Shock wave propagation and blast load calculation in underground tunnel is the key problem for tunnel anti-blast research. In order to investigate the characteristics of shock wave propagation in tunnel entrance, the flow field of chemical explosion inside tunnels was calculated using numerical simulation method. The characteristics of shock wave propagation and the influence of the road gradient to shock wave propagation was analyzed. The results show that the impulse increase with the road gradient and decrease with the scale distance. The peak overpressure increases with road gradient when scale distance Z>1m/kg1/3, but has no change as Z<1m/kg1/3. The variety of peak overpressure is less than 7%.
