Abstract:Abstract: Traditional vibration tests based on the acceleration response control are intended to control the platform acceleration of shaker according to specified acceleration specification, which leads to over testing phenomenon in natural frequency of testing article, fortunately, Force limited vibration test is able to mitigate that tendency. Detailed calculations of force limitation specification are presented on the basis of simple Two-Degree-of-Freedom System (TDFS), furthermore, force spectrum and acceleration spectrum between spacecraft bracket and shaker platform are also derived from that way, meanwhile, force limited random vibration and force limited sine vibration are carried out for spacecraft bracket, experimental results indicate that force limited vibration test in terms of force spectrum deriving from simple TDFS can simulate the realistic dynamic environment better than conventional acceleration response control vibration test does, and over testing tendency can be alleviated effectively, thus those results will offer a good verification for spacecraft vibration test.
