Abstract:This paper studied the wind-resistant behavior of the Suspension bridge of Xinjiang Siudirgol Bridge at both construction and completion stages by using wind tunnel test and numerical calculation methods. It is pointed that the static and dynamic wind-resistant behavior were not satisfy with requirements, It must take wind-resistant measures to improve the wind-resistant behavior. In order to improve the wind-resistant behavior, Considered the arrangement of Siudirgol Bridge and geographical location, Installed wind-resistant cable; single central buckle; decreased the height of main cable; improved bridge deck structures, etc. The wind tunnel test and numerical calculation results indicate that the wind-resistant behavior improved greatly. The research results can provide guidance for the design and construction similar bridges.
